I grabbed this for the shop because it was just goofy and unique. I love novelty stuff like this, and thought a nice Bluetooth speaker for the shop would be cool. Mine paired to my iPhone in seconds and started playing right away after a full battery charge. I had no issue at all in this respect. The controls on the truck bed handle the basics, play and pause, previous and next, volume, and an LED button. They do take some getting used to (like adjusting the volume, not very intuitive). As you can see in my photos, on the the rear panel you get a 3.5 mm AUX input, a USB-A port, a micro-SD slot, an on and off switch, and USB-C for charging. The headlights illuminate and the spare tire glows with a multi-color effect, but you can select a couple of other effects. It has been a conversation piece in my shop.The sound is just okay for a small single-driver speaker but it is not a powerhouse by any means. Output is fine at arm’s length on a desk or workbench, however it runs out of steam if you try to fill a room. There is some low-end presence but not much thump, mids are forward, and highs are a bit splashy at higher volumes. For background music, podcasts, or radio in a small space it does the job well enough. If your goal is strong, clean audio, you can buy more capable Bluetooth speakers at the same price point.The build quality sits closer to a toy in my opinion. The body is very lightweight plastic, the trim pieces flex if you squeeze them even lightly, and the buttons feel basic with a lot of play. My photos show molding seams and the simple undercarriage, which reinforce that this is more for decorative purposes. That said, all functions worked just fine, Bluetooth, AUX, USB and TF playback, FM radio, and the lighting effects. The manual could be clearer about long-press vs short-press behavior and using the controls overall, but after a few minutes I could navigate tracks, switch modes, and toggle lights. The controls are just not that intuitive.The battery life has been okay for short sessions. I am keeping the lights off to conserve battery, but I would say the capacity is pretty good. Charging over USB-C is convenient. It is interesting that it has USB input and a micro-SD card slot, but using that for music is almost a thing of the past anyway. The AUX input is useful for older players, but again, things are all pretty much just Bluetooth these days. If the manufacturer upgraded the driver and amplifier, tightened the plastics, and improved the documentation, this would make a bigger case for itself in terms of overall value.As it stands, I see this as a fun gift for car fans, a shelf piece for a garage or shop, or a kid’s room accent that happens to play music. It looks cool when lit up and it connects easily. I am keeping mine in the shop because it makes people smile, including me, but I would not choose it as my primary speaker.
